The Story

I first came to know of Sam when he was employed by a legitimate avionics shop that I do business with. A few months after I first spoke with Sam while he was employed there, I was notified that he was fired. No details of the why were given. Later Sam began to ask me if I wanted to buy used avionics as he claimed to be familiar with several shops that were selling their used equipment and that he was brokering the sales. He presented a Garmin 430W to me and represented it as tested and complete. After purchasing the unit, what came in the box was a defective piece of equipment from a completely different system. What we eventually found out was that Sam was pulling random pictures off of the internet of avionics and representing them as his for sale. We have a pending Wire Fraud complaint against him, but as the DOJ is busy rigging this next election I felt it prudent to warn people of this scammer.
